What to bring…

  • ID for an I-9

    Please bring ID with you an example would be:
    A valid state driver’s license or state ID
    AND your social security card or birth certificate.

You’re not going to work (yet), but

    Sneakers, Loafers, Boots. Something comfy.

What is the work like?

Our current workers describe the work as “easy”. The most common job is “picking” which involves selecting items. The environment is fun and friendly.

What days and times are available?

Monday - Friday second shift

What if I can’t work every day?

That’s fine! There is no set schedule. You can work any days or times that are available. The app will show you what’s available so you can book the gigs that work for you.

How do I schedule work?

We have a mobile app! It works on iPhone and Android. You can schedule a gig a few days ahead, or last minute. Our app will show you the gigs that are available.

How often do you pay?

You will be paid every Friday for gigs worked the week before.

Where is the work?

We have facilities in Louisville KY, Jeffersonville IN, Columbus OH, Allentown, PA, Houston, TX, Nashville TN and Independence KY, Carlisle, PA

What if my schedule changes?

You can cancel a gig if something comes up. You just need to cancel by 2 pm the day before the gig. If something comes up last minute, you can cancel the gig by requesting a replacement and adding a note as to the reason for the late cancellation.

Will I be an employee or a contractor?

You will be a W-2 employee of EmployGig with access to benefits.
